Dr. Lei Lei（雷蕾）简介

Lei joined the editorial team of Nature Plants in 2016. A 2010 graduate with dual degrees (Biological Sciences / Economics) of Peking University, Lei obtained her Ph.D. degree in Plant Biology from the Pennsylvania State University in 2015. Her doctoral and postdoctoral research in Center for Lignocellulose Structure and Formation (a DOE Energy Frontier Research Center) mainly focused on the regulatory mechanisms of cellulose biosynthesis in plants, for example, the intimate relationship between cellulose biosynthesis machinery and microtubule cytoskeleton. She also has research experience of plant female gametophyte and embryo development in Peking-Yale Joint Center for Plant Molecular Genetics and Agrobiotechnology. Lei's interests include cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, and biochemistry in plant sciences. Lei is based in the New York office.

摘 要：

The mission of Nature is to serve scientists through prompt publication of significant advances in any branch of science and to ensure that the results of science are rapidly disseminated to the public throughout the world. Now Nature Research family has 47 Nature-branded journals covering a broad scope of research fields varying from physical sciences, life sciences, and social sciences. Nature Plants, as one of the Nature Research journal, is an online-only, monthly journal publishing primary research concerning all aspects of plants. In addition to publishing original research, Nature Plants publishes magazine contents to provide a forum for the reporting and discussion of news and issues concerning plant science. All editorial decisions are made by a team of full-time professional editors with different expertise in plant research. The editorial standards and consideration, the publication pathway and criteria of Nature Plants as well as different Nature Research journals will be disclosed during the presentation.
